Let me start by saying that Sienna was definitely not a wild or adventurous baby at all - well, that is until about 2 months ago! She didn't crawl until she was over 10 months old, and didn't walk until about 13 months. Which, by the way, was totally fine by us! She was timid and cautious, and that's just the way she was. So you can imagine our surpise when one night last week, after we layed Sienna down for bed, we heard two huge thumps coming from her bedroom: the first one being "Grace", thrown over the rail and the second one being Sienna jumping over the rail after Grace! We both raced into her room only to find her in tears, saying "no nap!" It doesn't matter what time it is, if she's supposed to be sleeping and she doesn't want to, it's "no nap." And then, this - rolling her grocery cart over to the recliner, only to climb in it and stand up. How very safe. Luckily I caught her right after she stood up. Of course I had to get a picture on my phone (sorry it's so blurry), so I had proof for Scott! I realize that this may be typical behavior for an average 23 month old, but it has definitely shocked the heck out of us lately! :)
So, I'm almost 37 weeks pregnant right now, and sooooo ready to meet Hudson and just be done with pregnancy for a while, or for good, the jury is still out on this one! I'm definitely one of those people who is super excited to be a mom and raise children, and not so excited about the 9 months it takes to get there. Sadly, I have no bump pictures to show, yet. Maybe I'll get brave and take some....maybe!

Oh I'm glad you posted, so I could find your blog. I love your story of Sienna jumping over the rails and saying "no nap". I think it does take a couple of months to get used to the bed, so I'm prepared for it to get harder!
