2 Skinnee J's, Redskins car show, Hudson eats Oatmeal. (warning - lots of pics!)

The title pretty much sums up our last week! One of my all time favorite bands (who has gone in and out of retirement a few times now) came back to the 9:30 club for a reunion show last Wednesday. I grew to love this band while I was at ECU and seeing them perform brings back so many great memories. They have so much energy and are quite the odd bunch, but I absolutely love their music.

Sunday was the Redskins Car Show at Redskins Park. It was such a gorgeous day and just another excuse for us to be fanatical about the Redskins! Of course the whole family dressed up and went to the park...unfortunately, due to nap times, we had to get there right at 12 and we left before Chris Cooley, LaRon Landry and Chris Samuels came out to sign autographs. :( Oh well - I got some great shots of Mike Sellers (ginormous in person) and two rookies, who may or may not make the team...haha. And as we were leaving, Colt Brennan came cruising in. I tried taking a picture, but it came out crappy.

Miss Priss, eating her SECOND piece of pizza. (She definitely gets her love of pizza from me - I once ate 11 pieces, in one sitting, in middle school.) We really need to invest in another Redskins shirt for her. :)

Last night, Hudson tried oatmeal for the first time! The pediatrician gave us the go ahead at his 4 month check up but to be honest, I could have held off even longer. He'll be 5 months in about 2 weeks, but the boy is almost 17lbs! He's sleeping 10-12 hours at night, so seriously, what's the rush? :) He actually loved it and I have to say, that probably more than half of it went in his belly - a complete shocker for a first timer!

He's praying that it tastes good.
