Noah Scott is here! He arrived on Thursday, October 15th at 7:42 A.M. He was a whopping 8lbs, 14oz and was 20 inches long! We are so thrilled and blessed to have him finally be a part of our family!
This c-section and hospital stay was BY FAR the smoothest of all my deliveries. The c-section was painless, for the most part (unlike Hudson!) and he was out in like 12 minutes - crazy! They actually told me this delivery would take longer because of all the scar tissue they would have to cut through...so not the case! :) Due to the fact that the visitor policy was changed because of the H1N1 virus, I was so ready to get out of the hospital by noon that day...haha. I was missing Sienna and Hudson so badly and was feeling lonely without all my typical visitors. :) So, after some persuassion, I was allowed to take out my IV & epidural the first night and was making trips to the snack room by the next morning. :) C-sections really do get easier as you go along! Thank goodness the nurses agreed to let me go home in 3 days, instead of the typical 4! We were home and reunited with the kids by 3PM on Saturday...perfect!
Noah is proving to be an excellent baby! He eats A LOT and sleeps A LOT, during the day. :) Nighttime is a different story, but we're working on it. Sienna and Hudson adore him and seeing them interact with him and love on him makes it all worth it. Hudson was definitely a surprise here - I was told by several people, including our pediatrician, that he would be a "problem." Haha. This leads me to the title of the post. Everytime Hudson sees Noah, whether it be for the first time in the morning or the 100th time at night, he'll say..."Hi, Baby." He likes to rub his head and say..."Niiiice." Adorable. :) Sienna is definitely my little helper. Constantly wanting to soothe him, make his bottles, help change him, etc. This was really no shocker. :)
So, we're just trying to adjust to our new party of 5. Life around here is loud, crazy, sometimes frustrating, but I LOVE it and wouldn't want it any other way.
I don't take many pregnant pictures (and for good reason!), but I just loved this shot because of Sienna holding her belly.
