Sienna's big month!

In June, Sienna and I took a field trip together to Great Country Farms in Bluemont, VA and had a great time.  It was so special to be able to share that time with her and I had a fun time with her and our buddy for the day, Paige.  We were able to pick strawberries, learn about the life cycles of plants and bees, jump on a huge pillow, visit and feed lots of animals and just have an all around great time!

Cool girls in the back of the bus.

Tractor ride to pick strawberries.

Beautiful peacock.

Such a cool bouncy pillow.

The next week was special also - Sienna had her end of the year awards ceremony and Scott, myself, the boys and my parents were able to pop over to see her get 3 awards!  She was on cloud 9 and I couldn't have been more proud.  Sienna is a very good student and enjoys school and learning SO much, but above all of that, she is a sweet, respectful and very kind little girl.  It was so lovely to see her recognized for those attributes and as a parent, that's what I thank God for the most!  Sienna received an Attendance award for having 3 or less days of missing school, the Outstanding model of Respect award for her class and then 1 of 2 Principal's Awards in her class for Citzenship.  After her awards ceremony we were invited back to the classroom to hear her class read a special poem.  It was such a cute day and we loved getting a glimpse of her little Kindergarten life!

Sienna, where are you?  This picure cracks me up.

On her last day as a kindergartner, the parents were once again invited to come in for some fun activities to celebrate the end of the year.  Hudson was eating this up and loved sitting with her and being involved in her every move.  Sienna loved showing off and taking lots of pictures with her friends!  So, she's a BIG first grader now and is most excited about getting to eat lunch at school and go to music and art class next year.

We made these for all the teachers, aides and bus drivers.  I think Sienna would've given one to every employee at the school if I would have let her.

Sienna loves her some Brendan!

Her lovely teachers above.

They were actually saying "group hug."  I almost died from the cuteness.

Buddies.

See ya kindergarten!
