party of five: Megan and Nick's Wedding - a little late on the post...

My best friend since we were 9 got married on August 22nd and everything was gorgeous! The ceremony was held at a church in Falls Church and the reception was held at probably the most fabulous venue I've ever been to - the top floor ballroom of the Key Bridge Marriott! Many, many years ago, the top floor of the hotel used to be a revolving restaurant - AND it's where my parents got engaged and our long-time coach/friend had her first date with her husband! Who knew there was so much romantic history in this one space! Anyways, the view was just breathtaking! It was such a beautiful, mild, clear night and in my opinion, the DC skyline, never looked better. :) The wedding was such a success - good food, good company, great music and a happy couple - doesn't get much better than that!
