Flavor-Ice

Way back in the day, when I was spending more time at gymnastics then anywhere else, I became addicted to Flavor-Ice's. Let me explain. In the summer, we trained about 24 hours a week. (4, 6-hour days) During this time, our coach came up with the idea to use Flavor-Ice's as an incentive to get us to acheive our goals. For example, if we stuck 3 beam routines in-a-row, we earned one Flavor-ice. Sometimes, we earned 2,3,4 a night and sometimes we went home empty handed. Ever since then, I have just LOVED them and have now passed along that love to our kids. I can't even begin to count how many nights this summer we've hung out on the deck, after dinner, just enjoying our Flavor-Ice. Tonight, I finally got some pictures of the kids throwing back a Flavor-Ice, just like I used to do in the old days. :)
