I love snow, I really do. However, I've figured out in the past two months, that the snow I love is the kind that falls for a few hours, sticks only to accumulate to about 1-3 inches and is melted before I need to go somewhere. It's not like I've really spent a lot of time this winter galavanting the roads with 3 little ones, but that's not that point. I HATE this trapped feeling! Last weekend we experienced what they called the Blizzard of 2010 - upwards of 30 inches. Well, I basically heard Doug Hill say this morning, "SIIIIKE" under his breath, because as it turns out, today is our REAL blizzard of 2010. Hurricane force winds, coupled with our 12-15 inches of snow (on top of the 30!), and zero visibility, apparently makes this a real blizzard. Awesome. My school has been closed since Friday, and of course, I was scheduled to take a test last Saturday! You would think that that all this extra time would make me super prepared for this exam, but somehow that's not the case!
We haven't spent too much time outside playing in the snow because the only one who really likes it at this point is Sienna. This is so hilarious to me because girlfriend has lately become a diva with just about everything - except for playing in the snow in the blizzard like conditions. Somehow she can look outside, see the snow blowing sideways and the trees almost cracking in half, and STILL beg to go out. Is she nuts? Hudson is not a fan of snow that tends to be taller than him - can't really blame him. And Noah, well he has no clue what sort of winter we're having - lucky him! :) Here are a few pictures of the kids in the snow...

This morning we decided to have a play-doh party! It's a rare occasion that we play with play-doh in this house - just because it tends to be a gigantic mess and unfortunately, Hudson thinks it tastes good! He's also a fan of crayons - we're working on this...
Here's our play-doh Zoo. As if I need to explain this, but we have a water section to the left, a land section to the right, and air section on top. :)
