Do you ever feel like you talk and talk and your kids don't hear a darn thing you're saying?!?! Well, I do, all the time. However, this afternoon, I learned that they DO listen! While we were eating lunch, I asked Scott (as he was polishing off the fruit salad), "are you going to eat all of that?" He plainly said, "yes." Sienna then piped up and said, "We don't waste food here, Daddy. Because not everyone has a lot of food to eat!" It really melted my heart. It's such a blessing to know that even when you think no one listens to you or it's going in one ear and out the other, they really are getting some valuable information! :) Now, we'll see what she has to say next time broccoli shows up on her dinner plate. I'm guessing she'll sing a different tune...
