Easter 2012

We had a great Easter this year with mild temps, lots of egg hunting and discussing what the true meaning of Easter really is!  Sienna and Hudson have a good grasp of the significance and we've taught Noah who made him so special and where He lives and how much He loves us.  It's so adorable to see Noah point to the ceiling and say "God did that!"  :)

Our Easter started off the day before with a yummy meal, a super big egg hunt and a birthday celebration in WV. It was so nice to have the family together for the day and we had great weather!

Easter baskets!

Such sass.

I made a comment about how Scott was looking very LL Bean model -ish and then we got some photo-shoot pictures.  Never a dull moment.

Easter basket style

Suprised look.

While we were there, we celebrate Barbara's birthday as well.  Perfect timing!  We got her some green tea from Teavanna and a tea pot/maker thing.  Scott was in charge of making the cake and did a red-velvet theme and some very creative decorating on the top.  Maybe we have a new hobby for him?

On actual Easter Sunday, we did Mass and then an Easter egg hunt with my family.  Then in keeping with the Coghlan Easter tradition, we had dinner out at Maggiano's in Tysons!  It was so delicious and a great time with the family and of course, I have no pictures.  (I think I was tired from all the pictures I took the day before.)  I need to be better about that!

Love all the pictures from Easter in WV! There are definitely some winners of Scott:) And as far as his cake decorating goes, he should try out for Sweet Genius on Food Network! lol
