Beautiful North Carolina

So, I'm waaay behind, bare with me as I get caught up on the whole summer!

Ever since I went to school at ECU in 1998, I've been in love with the great state of NC.  I really don't know what it is, but I just love it.  Everytime I'm there, I'm searching realtor.com to look for the perfect house.  We will never move there, but it's nice to daydream sometimes.  :)

This year our little family, my parents, my sister and nephew, my Aunt Pat and Scott's parents all headed down south for a week of fun in Atlantic Beach, NC.  We rented a big house on the sound and good times were had by all.  The house came with a golf cart and the kids loved it.  The development we stayed in had a path to a shopping center with a grocery store, Bojangles and movie theater that you could take the golf cart to.  What else do you need?  :)  It's always fun to get everyone together and it's always a miracle how well everyone gets along!  I'm so blessed to have a great family and great in-laws that all get along.  What fabulous memories these are for the kids.  I'll let the pictures do the explaining of our week long adventure...

The golf cart that came with the house!  It was definitely a hit!

And Grandpa rode the bikes.

We did some family go-carting.

And a family trip to the aquarium.

My love.

Beach fun.  (better him than me!)

Sunbathing cutie.

Our first family pyramid.

Grammy and Grandpa at Fort Macon.

A trip to see Brave!  So good!

More go-carting.

And bumper boats!  Where I got drenched!!!

Family boat ride in Beaufort, NC.  Aunt Pat was there, too!!

The whole gang, minus Chris, he was in the bathroom.  :(

We feel so blessed to be able to spend a whole week with both sides of our family!  It such a treat for all of us to make these special memories year after year!
