Senorita Sienna

Humor me for a second while I brag about Sienna. The girl knows more Spanish than I do! Well, that's not really true, but go with it. :) She can count from 1-15, says numerous words in Spanish, like open, hello, goodbye, etc., sings songs in Spanish, that Wal-mart employees have interpreted for me, and told me today that she wanted to work at McDonalds when she becomes a "big girl." Since Sienna was a baby, we've always counted, in English and Spanish, when we go up and and down the steps, so that explains the counting. But the other things come from either Dora or The Goddard (they had Spanish lessons as part of their curriculum). It's really quite fascinating to me, but I guess pretty normal for the part of the country we live in.

Update on the kids:
Sienna is adjusting incredibly well to having a brother. She ADORES him and is so loving to him 90% of the time. If he even looks at Grace, she freaks, so we're working on that. Hudson on the other hand, is starting to become very protective of his toys (go figure)! He screams bloody murder when something gets taken away from him now. Poor guy....he's had enough already! :) Sienna is not potty-trained anymore - haha, I think we had about 10 good days and then she decided that it really cramped her style. So, we're back in diapers. I've really gotten used to changing a diaper every 5 mintues, so I'm not pushing it at all. Whenever she's ready again, I'm ready. Hudson is sitting up, crawling (the right way), and saying mama, dada, baba. He also runs, not walks, in his walker. The funniest thing is when Sienna stands on the back of it and he pulls her around the house. He's only about 7lbs less than her! Sienna is like a little sponge and there is nothing, and I mean nothing, that she doesn't hear. She's SUPER into Christmas and almost hyperventilated when we decorated the house this past weekend. She sings Jingle Bells and Rudolph incessantly and can also recite the entire story of David and Goliath (we think she might be a nun)!

Here is a recent picture of the kids all decked out in their Redskins gear for the Seahawks game last week. (The other two the kids of friends' of ours - Colin and Paige, how cute are they?) We won't discuss what happened yesterday - I'm not sure you can even call that football.

Sienna is quite the talker! Ava talks a ton, but we can only clearly understand a few words per sentence..oh well:) Ava was the same way about the tree - oh my goodness - she is obsessed with it :) Cute update - I need to see the kids again soon!
