Happy Birthday, Hudson!

The little guy turned 1 this past Wednesday and I cannot believe that 12 months have already flown by! We celebrated his birthday by singing "Happy Birthday" all day long and then having pizza and cake for dinner! He loved his presents - a little bit of clothes, a workbench (that Sienna enjoys mostly) and a bulldozer truck! He was not the least bit imitated by his first piece of cake! He definitely shoved the whole thing in his mouth without even blinking. :) In honor of his first birthday, here's a little bit about Hudson....

-He LOVES Sienna. He seriously grins from ear to ear every morning when he sees her for the first time or when they both wake up from naps. Which leads me to...

-He is NOT a good napper. From the second we brought him home from the hospital he was bascially awake the whole day. Lovely.

-He is a great sleeper at night - 11 to 12 hours soundly - but is a very early riser.

-He is just about exactly average in his weight, length and head size.

-He is in to EVERYTHING. He climbs the steps faster than Sienna and practically runs behind his push toys.

-He's not walking on his own yet. (Which suits me just fine at the moment!)

-He's has a sweet, mild tempermant, but can get awfully angry if Sienna steals a toy away from him.

-He loves his Daddy. I've never seen someone get so excited when Scott walks through the door at the end of the day...including me...haha.

-He has about 5-6 words in his vocabulary. Mama, Dada, Duck, Hi, Ball, More, etc.

I'm sure I'm leaving out a lot, but that's all I can think of right now. :)
