We celebrated Halloween...I promise!

So, I'm about two weeks late on this post.  We've been kind of busy.  And by 'kind of busy'- I mean I barely have time to use the bathroom.  School is crazy, life is crazy and my head is barely above water most days.  But you know what, everyone is healthy, happy and God has blessed us tremendously.  That's all that matters.

Halloween is getting more and more fun as the kids get older, and this year turned out to be a blast!

We started the week off with a pizza dinner and an impromptu Halloween parade at our house with cousin Brooke.  Noah was already asleep by this point, Hudson only wanted to wear his Thomas hat, Brooke was not a fan of her flower headpiece and Sienna was in full-blown costume.  You take what you can get.

Friday was Sienna's halloween party and parade at her preschool.  She did crafts, played games, had lots of sugary treats and then paraded around outside.  (Side note:  Sienna LOVES the camera and was holding up the parade line for me to get PLENTY of shots of her.  I didn't ask her to do this - btw.)

Of course, Sunday was the real-deal and we celebrated with The Chopitea family.  Nadia, Christian and their two girls, Hailie and Kaela came over to hang out in our hood.  Sienna, Hudson and Hailie finally got the jist of trick-or-treating (well, Hudson and Hailie were a little mute at people's front doors), and they weren't too scared of the all the "scaries" (aka:  kids dressed in scary costumes, skeletons, witches, scary music, etc.) out there running around!  Noah and Kaela hung out in their strollers and should've been dressed as angels - because that's what they were.  :)  It was such a fun evening and will definitely be a Longendyke/Chopitea tradition.  We've already got BIG plans for next year - even if it is on a Monday night.  ;)

Sienna looks adorable in her superwoman costume! The boys too! We should've gotten them together for something so they could've ooooh and ahhed at each other. We'll make up a friend halloween parade next year. anything for an excuse for more pictures!
