I'm going to make a huge effort to get back to blogging and keeping this little thing more up-to-date. It's one of my summer goals. Along with trying to find a new house, learning all the words to Jump Around, teaching Hudson to read, teaching Sienna how to jump in water greater than 3 feet, and teaching Noah how to buckle and un-buckle himself in his carseat. Exciting stuff, I know. :) Stay tuned for updates on all of these. :)
Back in late March, Scott and I decided to head down to Myrtle beach and Charleston for about 5 days while Sienna had some time off of school. Turns out, the week leading up to spring breack, Sienna had a NASTY stomach bug and unfortunately she passed that along to me, Scott and her great-grandmother while we were there! :( We didn't get it as bad as her and mangaged to still have a great time. Our trip happened to fall right during Hudson's 5th birthday, so he felt so special being at the beach to celebrate. My cousin lives in Charleston SC, so we headed down further south for 2 days during our trip to spend time with her, my Aunts, and my other cousins from Ohio, who were also randomly visiting Charleston. It was so great and random that we were all together in SC!
During our trip, we had some quality time with my Grandmother, ate lots of good food, visited our old friend from high school, played putt-putt and toured Charleston - which was AH-MAZING. It was such a good trip, but definitely went by way too quick. It was also super cold (for SC!), so that was kind of depressing - hehe.
Here are some pictures of our very quick trip!
